  1. Does anyone know or can anyone verify that the teachers at the Galloway were not issued new employment contracts for next school year (2012-2013)? Is this true? If it is who will be teaching for the next school year?

  2. Last year, I know for a fact that the teachers did not get contracts until the last day of school, after the students and parents left. That is when many of the teachers that were let go were informed they no longer had jobs. This is unfair for the teachers that were let go because the public school districts held their job fairs back in March and April. Most openings were already filled by then, limiting the terminated teachers' opportunities. It's also unfair to the parents. The best thing about Galloway has been the teachers. Without signed contracts, there is much uncertainty about what lies ahead for the children.

In my opinion, the best thing to do is ask your teacher if she has a contract to return. Ask the next grade level ahead if she has a contract to return. You need as much information to make decisions for your child's education as you can get. The only way to know for sure is to ask.

    1. Wow, how dishonest, not only for the parents and the kids but also for the teachers. Does the administration not care that these teachers have families and responsibilities that they have.

What am I talking about of course this school is dishonest look who is heading it (some with a record).
As a consumer you should always know what you are getting. So in this situation I guess since I won't know what I am paying for then I won't be sending my child to this school.

But I am sure that the teachers that are in good with Cerace will already have their contracts in place. She needs her cronies.

  5. As expected I see no teachers responding. Yes, it's not right that they don't know if they have a contract or not. That's what Bonnie likes. She likes the power she has. It is unfair to the parents and children, but when did she ever care about them! It also puts the school in a bad situation trying to find teachers that late in the year. As of this day, August 10th, I believe there are several teachers who have left. Two being upper school math teachers. Good luck finding good teachers this late in the game. Thanks again Bonnie for short changing our kids. We would get the real story from past teachers if only they would come out. As far as the current ones, I understand they have to keep their job. It is a sad state of affairs. And the reality is: don't ask them to play the integrity card and stand up against Bonnie. This isn't a movie or a book, it is real life and if they don't already have a job lined up somewhere, they have to stay there. Just trying to keep it real unlike some people who think the teachers and other staff should take a stand. Hopefully, like some movies, and like some books; there will be a happy ending. When? When Bonnie and Dot are gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
